the staff was really helpful. they answered all my questions about local attractions. the location was amazing. it was easy to get to nearby places. the shower had high pressure and was so refreshing after a long day.
The bed kept moving during the night. It was a bit annoying. i noticed that the kettle wasn't completely clean. there also wasn't a toilet brush in the bathroom. i found those things kind of inconvenient.

the breakfast was reasonably good, with a decent selection of options.
The hotel needs some attention. The room felt damp when i entered, and i had to open the window to improve the air quality. a minor issue with the heating in one room was resolved quickly with a heater. i found the overall experience to be just satisfactory.

the staff were helpful and friendly. breakfast offered good choices, including a tasty cooked selection with haggis (a nice touch!). i found ample parking available, made arrival and departure simple.

the double room lake view included a comfortable bed. there was spotlessly clean décor in the room, nicely decorated. it had all the amenities needed for a relaxed stay, including tea and coffee making facilities.
